A different approach
While there has always been political and social unrest, the past several years remains magnified by a pandemic that has physically and emotionally distanced us from each other. Currently, we only hear those voices that have the privilege of speaking. This is why MEA needs strong leaders who will stand up for our students and the educational community as a whole when we see and experience injustice in the workplace, in our schools and on campuses across the state. Paula, Alfonso and Frank have the experience, passion and commitment at both the state and national level to support the work of our members, so they can, in turn, support the work of our students. We humbly ask that you continue to have faith in this essential work. Together, we will be a more perfect union, with justice for all.
